The Electric Horseman: Ever dance with the devil in the pale moon light?

All of us, in some way, are like the Electric Horseman. In a mediocre (I'm being generous) late 70's film , Robert Redford played Sonny Steele, a rodeo rider who sold out to a business conglomerate and was reduced to making public appearances to sell a brand of breakfast cereal.

Just like your life, right? Of course not. But, we can learn a bit from Sonny, who recognized his "sell out" status and decided to do something about it. I'm not saying everyone should run out, steal a 12 million dollar show horse (do those even exist?), fall in love with Jane Fonda (never understood her appeal), and be chased cross country. But I do think, like the Electric Horseman, we should be true to ourselves and true to others.

This is a blog to support those who stay true and creative to whatever it is they do. Art, photography, music, film, politics, poetry, medicine, family, the environment, etc, etc, etc. As long as it comes from an honest place I am sharing it.

Stay honest. Stay creative. Stay true. When in doubt, think what would Sonny Steele do? Yes, that rhymes.
