Anyone who’s anyone in New York City’s elite group of club goers knows that places like Bungalow, Marquee, & Mansion are about as cool as cargo shorts [insert appropriate movie quote here: “Nobody has gotten a hand job in cargo shorts since 'nam! – Superbad]That being said, a refreshingly new, more residential you could say, spot has popped up in Manhattan’s uber trendy high rent district, Tribeca (ok it’s not exactly tribeca but its friggin’ close). 88 brings with it an eclectic mix of wall street d bags (that’s WALL STREET, ever heard of it?), wanna be actors/directors, new york socialites (what the eff is a socialite anyway? Don’t those grow inside caves or some shit?) and eurotrash galore. Better yet, these people aren’t just coming by for quick bottle service and some table dancing, ohhhhhhh no, these people actually LIVE THERE . With breathtaking views of the city, an unparalleled door staff, and the recent vacancy of none other than Mr. & Mrs. Fatterstein , 88 Leonard is here to stay (assuming they don’t file for bankruptcy and are repo’d by a couple irate middle eastern businessmen).
